What makes you happy? // Washington DC photographer

IMG_0934_celebrate

I would love to hear about what makes you happy! Please comment so we can all read it, as I think we could ALL use an extra dose of happy these days.

This image makes me happy — it’s an image I took of a youth soccer team after they FINALLY won the LAST game of the season. These are a bunch of dedicated 7 and 8 year olds who worked their tails off and lost almost EVERY SINGLE game they played but it didn’t matter. They were good sports and always lost with dignity and when they won the last game of this past spring season, they were overjoyed but not bumptious. They just purely love each other.

Sending sweetness out to you and yours,

Jen
